Ticket includes a two course meal and Ghost Hunt. Please note: Ticket is valid for TWO courses only. If you would like to order the full 3 courses please notify us before ordering as this will incur an additional charge.

Minimum age to attend is 18.

About the George & Pilgrims:

The George and Pilgrims is the oldest pub in the South West. Above the arched front door are the coat of arms for King Edward IV and Glastonbury Abbey. The original features continue inside with an atmosphere which can only be described as medieval.

Glastonbury Abbey was dissolved by King Henry VIII in September of 1539 - when the abbot was taken atop Glastonbury Tor, gutted, drawn and quartered. The pub still served the stream of pilgrims to the Abbey during this time and appears to have been in continuous use to that point, and up to the present.

The local rumour is that Henry VIII even watched from the pub window while the abbey was ransacked and burned under his orders.
